Bedding

Bedding - We spend on average 33% of our lives asleep and choosing the right bed and bedding is essential to have sound, refreshing sleep while our bodies repair and renew our cells. Our bedding department has everything you could want to make your bedroom comfortable. We stock duvet covers in a range of fabrics and colours, most with matching curtains. Try our 100% Egyptian cotton bedding and bedlinen, including duvet covers and sheets for natural fabrics at its finest, feeling cool and crisp against your skin. Alternatively try our faux silk and satin duvet covers which are also available in super king sizes, to add a touch of luxury to your bedroom. We also stock polycotton flat, fitted and valance sheets in single double, king size and super king size to co-ordinate with our duvet covers and bedspreads and throws. You will also find a selection of quilts, including 13.5 tog, Goose feather and down quilts, to anti allergenic hollowfibre 13.5 tog quilts. Recently arrived is our range of memory foam mattress toppers which with their superior density memory foam, give you a great night's sleep. We haven't forgotten children either. Pillows

As with bedding and mattresses, it is important to have good pillows to ensure a good nights sleep, and to prevent neck and back problems. There are may types of pillows, from naturally filled goose feather and down and duck feather pillows, to synthetic filled covering hollowfibre, latex or memory foam pillows. You can get contoured pillows, especially popular for memory foam pillows, bounce back or bolster pillows, which are long and narrow, ideal during pregnancy. The best latex pillows are Dunlopillos, where a single latex piece is used, and using the latest technology, provides the prefect sleeping support.

Bathroom

Bathroom - Bath towels should be of the right weight, size and material. The quality of towels vary enormously and are dependent on the types of cotton used, and usually where and how they are manufactured. For best quality towels, try our Egyptian cotton hand and bath towels and bath sheets . These towels offer superior absorbency from the high quality Egyptian cotton that is used in their manufacture. We also stock Turkish hand and bath towels, and bath sheets, in a range of colours including white, cream, pink, blue, black, and navy. Try our 2 piece bath mat sets in a range of colours and designs. These high quality sets comprise of a bath mat and a pedestal mat, with polypropylene backing to ensure that the mat is “non slip”. 2 designs are currently available – Dolphin and Checker Board. Once again, we have not forgotten Children either. Towels from a variety of favourite characters, including Sponge Bob Square Pants, Bob the Builder, Bratz, Cars, Disney Princess, Winnie the Pooh, Spiderman to name but a few. Curtains

We stock curtains in a variety of sizes, colours and materials. Appropriate window dressings are essential for any room décor. We stock a variety of curtains, the majority with matching cushions, to give your room a completely coordinated look. Most of our bedding comes with matching curtains and cushions too, so you can have a complete bedroom transformation in one stop! We also stock the very fashionable, ready made yet cheap, faux suede, silk and velvet curtains in a variety of colours including, black, chocolate, red, duck egg, green, pink, mocha and cream , so you are sure to find something to suit. Also available are curtains with the fashionable eyelet heading, which "thread" through the pole, or traditional pencil pleat headed curtains, which can be used with a track or with pole using curtain rings. It is also important to get the right size, to ensure you get the appropriate amount of "gathers" in your curtains when they are drawn. As a very general rule the total width of the curtains should be 1.5 to 2 times the width of the pole/track. Please see our curtain buying guide for more information. The measurements given for curtains are usually the size of one panel in the pair. For instance, a curtain measurement might state that it is 66 inches wide by 72 inch drop. This size therefore refers to one panel, so the total width of the two panels in a set of curtains is 132 inches. The drop of the curtain refers to the total length.

Throws

Throws have a number of uses, from decorative on your bed or to cover an old settee or to cover and protect a brand new one. Throws (also known as bedspreads in the bedding department). We have throws and bedspreads in a variety of textures and finishes, including faux fur throws, in chocolate, beige, grey and white, faux satin, taffeta, faux suede and faux fur throws. The range of sizes ensures we cover single bed, double bed, king size bed, and super king size bed, as well single or multiple seater sofas.

Cushions

Cushions can be used in any room of the house to add the finishing touches and complete a room. An appropriate selection/design of cushions can transform the look of your room. Experiment with cushions with different textures and colours to add contrast, or use the bright bold colours to brighten up a dull colour scheme. Cushion covers can also come in a variety of sizes. The largest cushions suitable for a sofa is 22 inch. However, the most commonly used cushions are 18 inch square ones. As well as the 18 inch cushions, decorative cushions for the bedroom are oblong cushions which measure 35x50 cm. These cushions are also known as boudoir cushions . A range of all three sizes, are available in our online store. However, one has to be careful when purchasing cushions. Dyes can often run, so it is advisable not to place dark coloured cushions on light coloured suites, or at least test for any dye run first.
